Gli Atlantici

Sono trascorsi quasi cento anni da quando furono realizzate dagli aviatori italiani le Trasvolate Atlantiche.
Ad ogni scadenza del calendario gli Atlantici vengono sommessamente celebrati, qualcuno legge un libro, viene trasmesso un documentario in tv e poi tutto è riposto in attesa che un nuovo anno trascorra.

Ricordare le imprese che hanno fatto la storia di un popolo non è cosa da poco, serve a motivare il compimento di nuove imprese, anche quelle di tutti i giorni. Serve ad imparare, perché la storia insegna.

In una società sempre più veloce, poco incline all’approfondimento ed alla memoria, indossare nella vita di tutti i giorni una t-shirt che riporti al fatto storico di una impresa significa offrire a quel momento la dignità della presenza e l’opportunità di non scivolare nell’oblio.

Almost a hundred years have passed since the Atlantic Flight were carried out by the italian airmen.
At each deadline of the calendar, the “Atlantici” are quietly celebrated, someone reads a book, a documentary is broadcast on TV and then everything is put away waiting for a new year to pass.

Remembering the feats that have made the history of a country is not a trivial matter, it serves to motivate the completion of new feats, even everyday ones. It serves to learn, because history teaches.

In an increasingly fast society, little inclined to study and remember, wearing in the everyday lif a t-shirt  that brings the memory to an historical feat  means offering to that moment the dignity of presence and the opportunity not to slip into oblivion.

The history of feats must be known and learnt in books and the task of a celebratory t-shirt is to stimulate the need for further study, to bring attention to that history book, to that feat; the t-shirt is the link to the book that will describe the feat and its historical location in detail, explaining its meaning and value.
